Open settings -> wifi on the iphone, and choose other and select the 'Pilot Aware-XXXX' as source
Go back to main page and Open a safari browser session
type http://192.168.1.1
and it should connect to PAW and show the config screen
select the radar box to right hand side
It should then display the radar screen

Power up your PAW. Make sure the GPS dongle or GPS Mouse has a clear view of the sky (preferable out doors).

On your iPhone, select Settings/ WiFi. Select PilotAware as WiFi source (PilotAware "hotspot" should be up/running 1-2 mins after power up). After short delay PilotAware will be "ticked" as selected WiFi source.

Select Safari internet browser. Type in 192.168.1.1 and hit GO or return key on iPhone soft keyboard.

PAW homepage should now display and hopefully the lines "Navigation"  to "GPS" will all be green for OK.  Press the "Radar" button at the top of the home page (or any other of the PAW pages).

You should now have the Radar page displayed on your iPhone. There are two types that can be selected "FLM1" or "TCS1".

As I recall with range settings, if you press "+" you effectively zoom in and reduce range and vice-versa for "-", so slightly counter-intuitive. Also I believe Radar is only available on last 2 software releases.

Make sure you are connected to the PilotAware WiFi hotspot with both devices and then type 192.168.1.1 in the internet browser. I don't think it's necessary to put in the http bit!

Radar is a recent introduction. If you cannot see the Radar tab adjacent to the tracks one it is most likely your software needs updating.

The New version of Sky Demon has a radar on it. I like that Idea. So just use tablet and not another device !!!

He may of course not have SkyDemon, Richard.

GVBLR, can we check a few points so I can establish how far you are getting.

Is it PilotAware's Radar Screen you are trying to see?

Before trying this, did you have your PilotAware up and running?

If so, what did you have it connected to and what display or navigation system were you using?

You say 'It refuses to display the home page on my phone or iPad now!' so presumably it did before - is this correct?

OK, so first bits to confirm -

Are you seeing the PilotAware WiFi Hotspot when you go into 'Settings > WiFi' on your phone / iPad?

If so, can you connect to the PilotAware WiFi Hotspot?

Let me know the answers to these and we will be heading in the right direction.

Regards

Peter
