The A20's have volume controls for Bluetooth on the side of the battery compartment … I normally up mine by 2 or 3 presses and the level is fine...

Try refreshing the screen in the browser, just in case you're seeing a cached view ..

It could be a simple as that

a while back I purchased various samples of cables advertised as 18AWG
..... and after a teardown, they most definitely were not !

Thx
Lee

Not really surprised there … some of the Chinese stuff is of dubious origin..

as far as AWG is concerned the smaller the number, the greater the diameter, so if you REALLY have 18AWG, thats really good, I would like to know where you got 18AWG with a MicroUSB connector

Thx
LEe

There's a few over on Alibaba etc … charge only, but that's all that's needed

Unsure of the quality / longevity, but might be worth looking into

Technical Support / Re: Bose A20 pairing with Rosetta
« on: July 07, 2019, 05:50:34 pm »
Sounds odd ..

Does the same happen on the second scan (ie, re-run the BT scan)..?

There were some hiccups with the early tests (a long while ago) but they were all ironed out … It's pretty much faultless for me at the moment ...

I use the A20s all the time, and have no issues connecting to this version (or the engineering releases during testing ...]

Is the Bluetooth led blue/purple when you’re trying to pair? (And Bluetooth switched on too ..)

Cheers

PWWestBfd is currently sat next me, and appears to be running as per normal from what I can see …

Are you saying it's picking up too much traffic .? (I'm not far from EMA .....)

I was running the latest engineering release, with the filters set to the maximums …. (so I can see things working ..)

I cruised over the top at 3000' and can remember thinking at the time that there should be a ground station round here....

I think Stodge may be referring to the SD Card adapter for the Micros SD Card that's in the Rosetta

The Micros SD card as Ian has said can be thought of as a small hard drive - if you look on the Rosetta you'll see a finger sized dimple on the case between the two antenna's - this is where the Micro SD card is (it's plugged into the Raspberry Pi and can be removed if necessary) . A Micro SD card is about the size of a fingernail.

The full sized SD Card is actall the adapter for the Micro SD card and this allows you to connect the Micro SD card to a PC etc assuming you have a slot for it or a SD card reader.

Hope this makes sense

Cheers

Interestingly, I flew over Fenland yesterday and didn't see the ground station pop up … I wonder if it was offline  ..?

From the port number (4200) after the IP address it looks like he's using 'Shell in a box'

As has been mentioned, the address your router has assigned to your Pi has probably changed

If you can, log into your router and check the Devices page (difficult to describe exact name without more details on the router) and see if you can spot the Pi, either by it's name or is a list of MAC addresses is show, the one starting with B827 …..

There are a number of useful IP scanners you can get for free too - running one of these on your PC will list the devices is can find on your network (IP address, name, MAC address etc etc) -- handy if you're not sure where to look in your router..

Here's one I've used in the past ..  http://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/index2.php?utm_expid=62919999-71.OuJ_66t8Q8SCz9BIvLvQ6g.1
