My experience too. And Groundstations Playback no longer recognises my ICAO hex code.

I've now done the same with better results from Vector.

Have any Jodel owners installed external antennae for their PAW kit? I've used my Rosetta on the rear shelf of my D117 and using Vector I've found that the forward looking 30 degrees arc is poor on signal strength due, I'm presuming, to the mass of engine and water (me) in the way. Hence, I'm thinking of fitting external antennae and the logical place to install them is on the lower fuselage behind the trailing edge of the wing, next to the access panel where my xpdr antenna is located. I know that I shouldn't fit the 1090 MHz antenna close to my xpdr antennae but any thoughts would be appreciated.

All resolved now. All the greens. I left my unit in the garden for 30 minutes and it's logging fine now. Thanks for the support, chaps!

I turned it off in frustration last night & came back to it this morning. I can now connect to the PAW wifi hotspot ok and I can get to the homepage (image attached) only to find I now have no ADS-B connection. I've powered down and checked the ADS-B dongle & aerial contacts and they seem ok. No traffic logged despite seeing them on FR25 and GliderTracker.

It's a Classic that has worked flawlessly since the original batch was made available. The wifi has only stopped after I did a memory stick update to 20180129 yesterday. I even saw the new software version come up on the homepage, removed the memory stick and the wifi dropped out and I've not been able to detect the wifi hotspot source to connect to since then. The lights on the Pi & bridge are normal and the gps dongle is flashing normally.

I think I've suffered this. No sign of the PAW wi-fi url on either my tablet or phone when I try to connect. My power source (Anker) & cable (original JuicEbitz 20 gauge) are good. Any solutions I might have missed from other threads?

It looks like PWEGTU is now working.

So do I, especially when I don't understand them but know they're in safe hands!

We've still a few issues with not being able to interrogate our station but we've made progress. UKNHL is at North Hill, the site of the Devon & Somerset Gliding Club, just to the west of Dunkeswell. We originally requested locating our PAW station there last year but the GC committee didn't want us to jeopardise their flaky broadband connection, depite the reassurances provided by Keith.

No, not yet, Lee. Can you point me to the test methodology, please? The station went in today and as the weather was lousy, there was no local glider activity. Mike

PWEGTU is now installed at Dunkeswell, c/o the LAA Devon Strut. Thanks to Brian Lyford and Chris Parsons for the installation and to Brendan Proctor of Devon & Somerset Flight Training for the use of the clubhouse.
