Thanks Ashley. I will try that when I return home in a couple of days. K

I have just inserted the new 20200906 SD card into the Rosetta and followed the download instructions. I then connected over pilot aware wifi to my iPad and went to my pilotaware homepage where I see the message: Version (2022101) license expired.

I renewed my license in Feb. and received the Software Key on Feb. 17. but failed to update the key until just now. Is this the problem - that I've done a software update on an expired license?

Thanks in advance for your help with this. Kerry

Thank you very much. My very slow brain had almost reached that conclusion. I really appreciate all the work you are doing there and the quick response.

Ok went to the next step, configure, and entered settings including existing License key and now on Home I no longer see License Expired.

However it still shows Version 20201101 not 20200906.... ???

Technical Support / New Software but license expired message?

Hi. I've just loaded the new software using the MicrosSD card which arrived today. All seemed to go well but when I connect to the Wifi hotspot on my ipad instead of seeing Version 20200906 I see Version 20201101 License Expired.

My license is not due to expire until Feb. 2021 and I haven't received a renewal email. Thanks in anticipation of some help with this. Kerry

Technical Support / Re: Which USB Port for RS 232 Cable?
« on: February 19, 2020, 02:42:15 pm »
Thank you for the replies and they confirm my own thoughts. It will be the centre lower port (Port 2)  and yes, some gentle enlargement of the hole where the cable goes through the sliding cover will be required but is easily achieved.

Fired it up in the plane for the first time this afternoon (on the ground) and it certainly captured the satellites and a couple of planes doing circuits. An interesting learning process.

Technical Support / Which USB Port for RS 232 Cable?
« on: February 19, 2020, 08:57:54 am »
Just acquired the Rosetta and I'm setting it up. I want to confirm that I am getting this right. With the rear case off I see the GPS Dongle in the top centre USB port. The WIFI dongle is in the lower right port.

I now need to connect the RS 232 cable which will take the GPS signal to my Becker Mode S Transponder however the top right port is partially blocked by the GPS dongle. The lower centre port is also partially obstructed by the cable from the USB dongle but is accessible.

Do I used the lower centre USB port?
