Hi
I have a classic and need an adaptor to connect the cable to the SDR dongle. I ordered a SMA female to SMB male plug Adapter converter connector x1 F740254K off ebay (264598542869) but it seems a little large to go into the dongle.
Anyone know the correct adaptor please?

Hi John,
A bit unclear on what exactly you’re trying to do. The connection in the standard ‘Classic’ dongle is MCX female but you don’t say what you are trying to connect to it. If it’s another antenna with a connector with a loose rotating Hex Nut and a pin inside, that’s (probably) an SMA Male. So you will need an SMA female to MCX Male adaptor, like this...

Beware - you also get ‘reverse polarity’ SMA connectors which will NOT fit.
If in doubt can you post a photo please.

Peter

May be better to use a pigtail cable instead an adaptor to prevent loosing the SDR from the USB port?
