Mode S is not showing on Vector. Pilotaware and Skyecho2 giving reasonable results. No complaints from ATC about my Garmin transponder. Some colleagues with the same problem. We are based in the East Midlands. Any help much appreciated

How can mode S show on Vector it has no positional data?
-
Why is the option there for mode S with Pilotaware.flare,ADSB, CAP1391?
-
I assume mode S vector coverage can only be given as MLAT tracked mode S.
One of the PAW people will be along shortly to correct this/me...
I have several vector plots of mode S from a local pilot's aircraft, so it must be possible.
But you require (a)ground station reception of mode S and (b)enough pings to do the MLAT.

AIUI, Mode S reporting on the Vector System has been temporarily suspended due to the amounts of data it was accumulating on the network (which reflects the extremely high proportion of traffic which is still Mode-S equipped despite the recent significant uptake in PAW and CAP1391 devices).
ADSB, PAW, FLARM and CAP1391 Vector reports are all still available.
This does not in any way affect Mode-CS reporting on airborne units or MLAT reporting via Rebroadcast.

We will resume the modeS reporting on vector, when we fully understand the data usage
