Mounting antenna,s

I Have  put my aware in a plastic weatherproof box as it will be in a flex wing. I have mounted the antennas
vertical one coming out the top of the box one at the bottom.
Is there any advantage to having either antenna on top or as they are both vertical  wont it make any difference?

Hi Nigel

So long as they are vertical it doesn't matter. The important point is that the larger one has as clearer sight as possible in all directions. The smaller one is receive only and receives much stronger signals (unto 70watts transmitted) so is not so critical.
