Not just you - I haven't either and I have a couple of quite old licence keys. Perhaps they are yet to go out to everyone?

I have received no email either and have a couple of old keys.

I already have a Pi2B and would like to try  the new software/hardware combination on ADS-B before committing to the new bridge.
Europa XS Mode-S ADS-B out enabled.

Hi All
Sorry if there is any confusion.

If you were part of the Beta trial you can now request your full license & product download from here :-
http://forum.pilotaware.com/index.php/topic,363.0.html

If you had registered a Wifi Dongle address - usually starts 0013....
This needs to be swapped in the database to the RPI Address, which usually starts B827.....
please drop me an Email/PM to let me know what MAC address to use and I will swap in the Database

easiest approach is to follow the Installation guide from Ian Fallon, found here :-

Thanks Lee. I've been away from all this for a bit but looking forward to getting back into it.

Another question: in returning the old ARF modules, do we need to remove them from the carrier board (in my case the Harkwood PCB)? It may be a bit of a challenge to unsolder! The return documentation also implies that we should retain the ARF antenna (i.e. the new board does not come with its own antenna). Is that correct?

Hi,

No need to desolder them before you send them to us. (I suppose we shouldn't use the word 'return', they didn't come from us!) unless you want to keep the other parts.

The new Bridge doesn't come with an antenna, but the one supplied with the ARF should work fine.

kind regards,

I would just add, we have tested a lot of the Bridges with the ARF antenna, and have equivalent results to those obtained with the Antenna supplied as part of the PilotAware Classic.

Shortwing

perhaps i'm being dense, i've followed the link and got the license extension, how do I obtain the code to send my old ARF units back?

DaveStyles

Hi,

you don't need a code.

Instructions here

You just need to send it to us with the Beta license number it was used with and say what you would like the discount on.

regards

David Styles.
