« on: November 14, 2015, 09:50:24 pm »
Hi, first time user and installation. I got to stage of seeing the pilot Aware hotspot on my iPad which I connected to and used browser to go to http://192.168.1.1 I then input the license number (which I assume is the 12 digit alphanumeric shown on the hotspot i.e. PilotAware - XXXXXXXXXXXX    I am now getting the following 2 messages that repeated every second:
License Fail for wlan0 00:13:EF:C4:00:8D  and
License Fail for eth0 B8:27:EB:FB:A4:D6

Appreciate any advise, Bob

Richard

Hi Bob,
That is the MAC address you describe as Pilotaware-******** you need to go to request licence on this forum and enter that number to get your licence number.

the 2 MAC addresses you see are from the Pi and the wifi dongle, use the Pi MAC address and get your license number here: http://forum.pilotaware.com/index.php/topic,156.0.html

then you enter the license number on the 192.168.1.1 configure page (when connected to the PAW), you can also enter your aircraft's ICAO hex code (which you can get from G-INFO) and the current regional pressure, then press 'save'

(btw Lee, in configure it says QNH(mb), not QNH(hPa) - pedant, me? sorry)
