I can see other aircraft but they can’t see me
« on: September 23, 2025, 11:39:19 am »
I am operating a PAW Rosetta in a Skyranger with internal antennas. Everything on the home page is ‘green’ with a good GPS fix on 5+ satellites. Trouble is, other pilots who use PAW report that my aircraft does not appear on their SkyDemon. I’ve confirmed with a few others who have been in the air at the same time as me. I’ve even hotspotted to my phone for iGRID connection but it doesn’t make a difference. Anyone have any suggestions? The Rosetta box is under the dash but the GPS mouse is on top of it with a good view of the sky. The internal antennas are mounted vertically on each side of the window. Any thoughts welcome. Thank you, Gareth

PS We have a Mode-S transponder fitted and can see ourselves on ADSB exchange/safesky.

Are you 100% sure that your ICAO code is correctly set?

Is there a strange setting in your minimum speed for transmission?

can you share your ICAO code you have set (a screenshot will help)
also provide details of a recent flight location and time
