Shame that nobody could initialise these ADSB units, to display their type or owner.

This information is actually held in a database elsewhere and is not part of the transmission

In an earlier post, you mentioned that one of the helicopters ADS-B was intermittent cutting in/out ?
Do you know what range that was from the receiver, because of course typical ADS-B transponders should carry for a huge distance, I regularly receive aircraft over 150km
