New PAW / OGN station seems to be deaf to FLARM?

Hi

I have setup a brand new PAW / OGN station.  Pi 2 + Bridge + NESDR Dongle + follow the instructions for a fresh install of the combined PAW & OGN software.

It is called EGBKE and it is East of EGBK! :)

It can see Pilot Aware traffic (well my PAW box on the other side of the room anyway), but it hasn't seen any FLARM traffic all afternoon, despite some in the vicinity and being picked up by stations much further away.

I tried a reboot, I tried an update  (http://pilotaware.lode.co.uk/downloads/OGN/README.update), but no change.

I show up on all the OGN maps, but sometimes as Blue, not Green - which I think suggests a software version issue?  I can see my PAW box being uploaded to the OGN network.

Any ideas?

Sorry if this seems obvious, but a number of OGN builders have mistakenly ended up buying antenna cables with RP-SMA connectors, the end with the screwed sleeve needs to have a pin in the centre, the RP ones have a hole, they screw together fine but you get no antenna connection.
If this is the case a simple work-around is to snip off a bit of resistor lead or similar wire and use it as a makeshift centre pin.
Looking at your gain your RF noise and CPU load should be quite a lot higher if there was any signal.
The other possibility is a faulty SDR

Yes using SMA, not RP-SMA connectors that include the pin (never any silly questions!).

Tried 2 antennas, I had it on a Diamond X50 collinear that is outside on a pole on the chimney most of the afternoon and gets me pretty good range Rx on 1090mhz for ADSB.  This evening I have switched it over to the 868.3 9dbi collinear that I am 'looking after' for you Keith, but in the loft rather than outside.  Obviously little to no FLARM traffic around this evening so will leave it on that antenna for tomorrow.

Stopping the software and doing a GSM scan now looks ok to my untrained eye:

Not sure what was connected when I did those pastes in the first pic, but now, the external X50 gives me about +3.0db of RF Input Noise, the loft 868.3 9dbi gives me +6.0db of RF Input Noise.
